Emergencies: Birds & exotics are masters at hiding any/all signs of illness. They can be critically ill before the owner(s) realize that they are sick. Many birds are brought to the veterinarian’s office in critical condition. If you are concerned/worried about any abnormality in your pet, please call immediately for an appointment. If your pet is an emergency situation, we will make every effort to see the pet immediately. Please advise the receptionists if this is the case. If your pet is developing a problem near the week’s end, please try to schedule an appointment a.s.a.p. so that you will not be faced with a life-or-death situation when the office is closed.

Confidentiality:Your pet’s medical record is strictly private. We will not give out information regarding your pet without your specific permission.

Laboratory Testing, Radiology/Pathology: It is often necessary to perform laboratory and/or radiologic or additional procedures, which are not included in the examination and office fee.

Telephone Calls:Since it is impossible to accurately assess your pets condition without an exam and any inaccuracy could be detrimental to your pet, thus we are not able to diagnose or recommend treatment over the phone. Calls requesting information or regarding the status of a hospitalized pet may be returned by a trained technician, Doctor or office personnel, to facilitate callback time.

Payment for services: As is the case with all small businesses, payment is due at the time services are rendered. If you have any special considerations regarding payment, please discuss any matters with the reception team when first checking in.

Cases are seen by appointment Monday - Saturday, but Emergency / Urgent Care
Patients are gladly accepted as the need arises.
